Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program (JJAEP) – is designed for any student expelled from school from any district within El Paso County for having been charged with a JJAEP mandatory offense. The JJAEP shall provide an instructional program that results in on-grade-level student academic progress in the areas of reading and math.
Students must be at least 10 years old.
JJAEP students do not mix with DAEP students or general education students.
Dress code is strictly enforced by the school and TJJD. Students should be prepared to appear before a judge with tucked-in shirt and belt at all times.
